Description

Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth, fortune, and prosperity, is revered for her benevolence and grace. Adorned in resplendent attire, she symbolizes beauty, abundance, and fertility. Sitting in a gesture of granting boons (Ashirwad Mudra), Goddess Lakshmi bestows wealth and auspiciousness. Her four arms represent the four aims of life i.e.; Dharma (Righteousness), Artha (Wealth), Kama (Desire), and Moksha (Liberation). As the embodiment of fertility and prosperity, her presence inspires devotion and encourages a life filled with blessings and material and spiritual abundance. Painstakingly crafted in brass, this enchanting portrayal inspires you to seek her blessings for material and spiritual fulfillment, and to embrace a life enriched with blessings, grace, and prosperity.

Features

  • The youthful Indra, resplendent in his decorated crown and ornaments, sits relaxed in the posture known as maharajalila asana, a comfortable way of sitting by Indian princes on their thrones. His right hand rests languidly on the corresponding knee, while the left, placed on the ground, helps him support his posture. While all other gods in the Hindu Pantheon invariably have their third eye placed vertically between the eyebrows, Indra’s is marked horizontally. This is a distinguishing attribute of Indra from other deities. More importantly, this third eye symbolizes the thousand eyes of Indra, mentioned in the Vedas, where he is often called as ‘Sahasraksha’, or the thousand-eyed.
