The marble base is really nice and so it will be hard to knock over, which is something I was looking for. But the globe part isn’t as nice as I’d hoped. Like others said there’s a bunch of smudges on the glass and gold is kind of rough on the edges. I was able to clean most the smudges with glass cleaner but there was one big splotch on the inside of the glass. Overall, if you don’t look too close at the globe part it’s really nice. But maybe a bit overpriced for the quality, even on sale.
