I do like this Armillary Sphere, it closely seems to replicate the kind I saw on the History Channel on the life of Nostradamus. The construction is acceptable, if a little unrefined in the brass solder joints. It would be nice to see included a basic info sheet on how this device was used, or maybe leaving it all mysterious is better. It completes a little still-life arrangement w/a 6″ crystal ball and a palmistry manikin on a side table in my living room; looks good!

I needed something “eye catching” and classic to fill in on my mantle. This really fits the bill! Its more interesting and not as solid as a world globe. It looks beautiful below an oversized clock and next to antique books.
